In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to McLaren Hospice Team or the Charity of your choice. Jerriene is preceded in death by husband, Fred Woodrow daughter, Sherry Lamphier son-in-law, Sam Harris parents, Beatrice and Duane Potter, Mike and Edna Woodrow twin sister, Jean Wildey brothers-inlaw, Milt, Bob, Charlie, and Bill Woodrow, Ray Wildey and Alan Arms sisters-in-law, Iva, Eileen and Betty Woodrow. She goes to heaven leaving 16 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren along with any beloved nieces and nephews. Jerriene is survived by daughters, Elizabeth (Ricky) Files and Janet Boyns son-in-law, Larry Lamphier seven grandchildren, Jennifer Lamphier Siem (Tony), Katie Harris Millwood (Allen) Jeremy Boyns (Stephanie), Joshua Boyns (Lisa), David Harris (Leigh), Shannon Files Key (Alan), Tamra Files siblings, Barbara Arms and Jason Potter sisters-in-law, Thelma Woodrow, JoAnn Woodrow and Marilyn Potter. Jerriene was a competitor and excelled at Scrabble particularly. She was an avid gardener with gorgeous, winding flower gardens around their home. Jerriene was a helpmate to Fred as they managed a small orchard, as well as honey and maple syrup production. She was a loving “dog mom” to Jack, Baby, Moppet, Fritz, Katie and Heidi, each in their own time. Jerriene was an active member of People Baptist Church and the Daughters of American Revolution until disease made it impossible to continue. Her life was a testimony to love, faith, faithfulness, and integrity. She was instrumental in the formation of the Michigan Head Injury Alliance and in developing training and protocols for TBI caregivers. Jerriene was Sherries’ patient advocate in all ways for 34 years. She left the business world in 1977 to devote herself to the care of her daughter after an accident in which Sherrie suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury. She did work as her daughters grew and had excellent reviews from all jobs she ever had. ![]() No one can get things whiter in the wash than mom and her house always smelled wonderful! She and Dad set an example for all of us in being a spouse and parent. Her kitchen skills were beyond compare and particularly her desserts, which were in high demand at all functions. ![]() She fully succeeded at those youthful aspirations. In her younger years, Jerriene wished to be a wonderful wife, terrific homemaker, outstanding mother and grandmother. She and Fred raised three daughters in the home they personally built near Columbiaville. Jerriene married Frederick Woodrow on January 16, 1954. Jerriene was born on Septemto Beatrice (West) and R. JERRIENE IONE (POTTER) WOODROW, 88, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, August, 31, 2023. ![]()
